The Maddux School is committed to the health and safety needs of our students, families, and staff. We appreciate your support and flexibility as we’ve responded to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation.

In accordance with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and the Maryland Department of Education, The Maddux School building will be closed through May 15, but our Home Learning Program will continue to operate at its highest levels. Our dedicated and creative staff are actively meeting and preparing curriculum, resources and methods to support our young learners, as well as online office hours to support parents and caregivers. We appreciate your positivity and flexibility as we navigate this new educational journey together.

Please visit our Family Portal for information and additional resources related to The Maddux School Home Learning Program.

Home Learning Time Line

We will continue to update you as new information becomes available.  In the meantime, we encourage all families to follow the CDC’s recommendations to prevent the spread of illness – wash hands frequently; avoid close contact with individuals who are sick; and stay home when ill.
